As part of this strategic engagement, MWB served as a lead advisor on ITS and mobility strategy, providing deep subject matter expertise across all project phases. Our role involved guiding stakeholder consultations, facilitating inter-agency workshops, and supporting the definition and validation of project deliverables.
MWB led the development of the overarching strategy framework and action planning approach, contributed to the analysis of existing ITS conditions, and helped articulate the future ITS vision to inform a detailed gap assessment. We also defined pre-qualification criteria and processes for onboarding ITS consultants, contractors, and technology suppliers.
On the technical front, MWB developed key planning and design tools including:
- A comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a maturity assessment model
- The Concept of Operations (ConOps) for the high-level ITS design across strategic corridors
- The structure, content, and technical sections of the updated ITS Design Manual
- A framework for ITS service domains, along with implementation initiatives and associated cost estimates
