The scope of work for MWB
MWB is appointed to conduct the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) & SCADA design for the Project and coordinate all the aspects related to the agreed scope with government authorities and secure the approvals. The project deliverables included Data Collection, Review and Analysis, Preparation & Submission of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Development of the ITS Combined Preliminary and Detailed Design Drawings (LoD 300) and BoQ, Development of SCADA Design Documentation including BoQ, Development of ITS/SCADA IFC Package including the technical specifications.
Underlying Technology Coverage
As per the final system architecture, MWB got involved in integration of various ITS systems, including but not limited to, Video System, PTZ Camera for Surveillance, Video Detection System, Video Vehicle Detection System (Traffic Counts), Speed Measurement Camera, Vehicle Count System, Variable Message Signs, Lane & Speed Control Signals, Over Height Vehicle Detection System, Fiber Optic Communication System, Abu Dhabi TMC Backend Systems Integration, Video Incident Detection System (VIDS), Video Wall etc.
We also had an opportunity to contribute to SCADA integration of various modules including SCADA System Components, Servers (Application, Database, Historian etc.), Workstations for Unified System Operations – ITS & SCADA systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Communication/Interface Converters, Input & Output modules of the PLCs, Power Supply Units/modules, Video Wall System, Network Management System, MEP Interfaces.
